One of these gems is the fortress of "Seven Brothers and one Sister", towering over the village of Khuchni in Tabasaran district. Its name, shrouded in legends, immediately attracts attention and promises an unforgettable experience. Legend has it that seven brothers and their only sister once lived here. When enemies surrounded their home, the brothers vowed to protect their sister to the last drop of blood. However, to avoid capture and dishonor, the sister threw herself off a cliff. Seeing this, the brothers followed her, preferring death to shame. In memory of their dedication and courage, the fortress got its name.
