* The Golden Valley can rightfully be called the pearl and the heart of the Kuznetsk Alatau. Due to its unique geographical and high-altitude location, glaciers have formed in this place, which are located at the lowest altitudes in the Northern Hemisphere, there are no analogues of such a phenomenon anywhere else in the world. It is named Golden because of the golden yellow color of the autumn vegetation. The Upper Tooth Mountain (2,178 m) is the highest point of the Kemerovo region, and the Old Fortress Mountain (2,217 m) is the highest point of the entire mountain system of the Kuznetsk Alatau. In addition to the many mountain peaks, we will also be able to enjoy the beauty of various lakes and waterfalls.
Throughout our journey, you will encounter a wide variety of landscapes from the black taiga to the mountain tundra and alpine meadows. You haven't seen the Celestial Teeth unless you've been to the Golden Valley. Our trip will take place along the famous ring route "The Big Circle".

day 01
First day - check-in and first camp
Type of accommodation:Tent
At 5:00 am, all participants will meet in Novokuznetsk at the suburban railway station (2a Transportnaya Street).
Getting to know the guides.
Transfer by train to the city of Mezhdurechensk. Transfer to the next train and transfer to Luzhba station (arrival at 9:22).
We cross the Tom River by motorboat and load into the Ural car. We cover 8 km along a dirt road in the back and disembark at the pass at the Talc quarry.
Then walk (14 km) to the parking lot in the valley of the Maly Kazyr river, where we set up camp and can relax by the evening campfire

day 02
Second day - Mazaevsky camp

Walking along the valley of the Maly Kazyr River through the Vysokogorny shelter to the Mazaevsky camp shelter.
Here we can already see our goal for tomorrow - the Karatash pass.
Distance: 13 km;
Maximum height difference: 260 m;
Travel time: 5-8 hours.
day 03
Day three - Golden Valley

Ascent to the picturesque Karatash pass (1,570 m) — "Golden Valley Gate". Here we will have a panoramic view of a part of the Golden Valley.
Traverse of the ridge to NGPI pass.
Descent from the pass into the Golden Valley to Lake Kharlygol.
Along the way, a radial exit to the Tronov Glacier is possible — one of the lowest mountain glaciers in the Northern Hemisphere.
Transfer to the parking lot on the rocky cape on the lake. Kharatas is one of the most picturesque places on the entire route.

day 04
The fourth day is the Upper Tooth

Ascent without backpacks (light) to the Kozye Vorota pass
Crossing the ridge through Nadezhda Peak.
Ascent to Verkhny Zuby (2178 m — the highest point of the Kemerovo region). Here we have a breathtaking view of the valley and the Celestial Teeth.
Descent on the way up to the parking lot on the lake. Kharatas.

day 05
Fifth day - The Old Fortress
Type of accommodation:Tent
Climbing without backpacks (light) to the Kozye Vorota pass.
Then cross the False Goat Gate pass to the plateau of the Old Fortress peak (2217 m — the highest point of the Kuznetsk Alatau).
400-meter walls break off from the plateau with spectacular views into the circuses of high-altitude lakes.
Descent on the way up to the lake. Kharatas.

day 06
Sixth day - Turalyg

Ascent to the Goat Gate pass.
Descent into the valley of the Turalyg river and transfer to the parking lot on Krugloye Turalygskoye Lake.

Travel time: 4-6 hours.
day 07
Seventh day - Taizhesu

Depending on the condition of the group and the weather conditions, cross one of the passes (Bear Gate or Wolf Gate) into the valley of the Belsu River to the parking lot at the Taizhesu shelter.
Sauna in the evening.
Distance: 13/9 km;

Travel time: 6-10 hours.
day 08
Eighth day - Heavenly Shelter

Today we have a walking tour through the valley of the Belsu River to the Celestial shelter.
We set up camp there and listen to the legends of Oz. Graduates at the evening campfire.
A sauna is possible in the evening.
Distance: 12 km;

day 09
Day nine - Radon Bowl

The longest hike awaits us, but the weight of backpacks on the last active day will be noticeably lighter.
Ascent to the wooded Marukha pass, descent to the Chistaiga stream, which flows into the valley of the Amzas river.
Transfer to the parking lot at the Radon Bowl.

day 10
Tenth day - it's time to go home

Well, today we're going out into civilization with electricity and cold soda.
Crossing the Talc pass, loading into the Ural car and moving to the Luzhba station (8 km).
At 15:40 we leave by electric train for Novokuznetsk, where we arrive at 19:15.
