Uralmash is not only the world-famous Ural Machine-building Plant, but also a socialist city with a ray building and the concept of a "garden city", built according to a unique design by architect Peter Vasilyevich Oransky. The engineering and technical intelligentsia lived in the core of the social city, which was provided with the best housing. Now they are recognized masterpieces of Soviet elite buildings in Yekaterinburg. You will make an evolution in the elite buildings of Uralmash: you will find out what luxury housing looked like in 1928, 1932, 1935, the 1940s and 50s and the 1990s and 2000s, and you will touch the secrets of the daily life of the Uralmash elite throughout the ninety-year period of the history of the socialist city.
