The main house of the Vsevolozhsky city estate
Detailed description
After the fire of 1812, the building was rebuilt and added three additional floors. Vsevolozhsky's house was decorated with columns from the facade, a terraced gallery in the courtyard, without a garden and wings extending to Ostozhenka. Vsevolozhsky was a wealthy amateur musician and had one of the best orchestras of peasant musicians in Russia. Later, the estate passed from Vsevolozhsky to the merchant Stepanov. The new owners renovated the building in the style of pseudo-classicism. Later, the coat of arms of the Vsevolozhsky family disappeared, and a yacht club and apartments appeared on the site of the building.
