Apartment house of P.N. Batuev

The apartment building was built in 1909 under the supervision and design of engineer Peter Nikolaevich Batuev. He decided to make the building in an unusual style for himself - northern Art Nouveau, this is the first building on his behalf in this style. The house turned out to be typical for this style, but it managed to stand out due to its height - the building has 7 floors. Among the memorable personalities, A. I. Prilezhaev, an engineer of railways and communications, managed to live in the house in 1910-1914, and also in 1910 N. G. Poletaev, a deputy of the III State Duma of the St. Petersburg province.
