Trading wing of O.N. Kameneva
Detailed description
Olga Nikolaevna Kameneva's shopping wing in the spirit of romantic Art Nouveau was built between 1914 and 1916. The developer of the building project is unknown. In 1918, the building was confiscated by the state. In the 1920s, it housed the Automotive Industry, then construction facilities and pediatric dentistry. The two-story brick wing building is rectangular in plan and has a flat roof. The main entrance is decorated in the form of a portal hanging at the ground floor level above a glazed semicircular doorway. The second floor is decorated with pilasters, crowned with sculptures of griffins. Fluted pedestals with figures of mythical winged monsters stand on the sides.
