Detailed description
It was a very famous house in the 19th and 20th centuries, it had a turret on one of the corners, but the house was famous because of the triumphal gates, which were very often photographed. The merchant Sherupenkov himself traded in timber, he also had numerous real estate in Moscow, and also owned a brick factory, but besides all this, Sherupenkov was engaged in charity, his wife defended the rights of orphans. Today, the building houses various establishments, cafes, and offices. The building is a cultural heritage site.
