* You will get acquainted with historical and natural sights in the immediate vicinity of the house of the artist Vasily Dmitrievich Polenov:
- The nearest village is Strakhovo with the Church of the Sign of the Lord and a school built by the Polenov family, next to which you will learn about the theatrical traditions of the family and this school.
- Manor house of Princes Abamelek-Lazarev. With his sosesod Semyon Semyonovich Polenov made his first trip to the Holy Land.
- The view from the village of Strakhovo to the surrounding forest. Learn the legends associated with these places.
- The Sknizhka River with its floodplain meadows, through which Vasily Dmitrievich's daughters went to Strakhovo, and a pine forest above the banks. Here the artist spent more than one hour at work.
