Checking equipment and readiness for the route. Boudnath is a business card of Kathmandu and Nepal. The Buddhist temple complex is located in the Kathmandu district of the same name. It is a large stupa with numerous Tibetan monasteries around. The stupa forms a spatial mandala, the different levels of which symbolize the elements. Bowdnath dates back to the 6th century, is considered the main center of Tibetan Buddhism in Nepal and is often mentioned in historical chronicles. We will live next to the stupa and will be able to fully feel the atmosphere of this amazing place.

After breakfast, we move towards the Tibetan border. It takes 6-7 hours to travel by jeep.(2500 m) The journey takes 3-4 hours. It is necessary to acclimatize before the highlands of Tibet. We will go hiking in Langtang, one of Nepal's national parks. We will reach Gosaikund, to the sacred lakes of Shiva. Every day we will travel 4-5 hours on the trail and spend the night at an altitude of 3,300-4,500 m. We will visit holy places, walk along an ancient pilgrimage path, and see the snowy peaks of the Himalayas. There will be plenty of time for meditation and practice. We are going to Gosaikund, to the sacred lakes of Shiva. Gosaikund is an ancient pilgrimage site. It is associated with the legend of Nilakanta, the Blue Throat. Shiva was meditating on Kailasa when the gods and demons decided to get Amrita— the nectar of immortality. Before Amrita appeared from the Milky Ocean, many gifts appeared, and in the end, a poison appeared that could destroy all living things. Shiva drank this poison, saved everyone, once again, but his throat turned blue. Since then, we have been calling Shiva Nilakanta. Mahadev, feeling very thirsty, pierced the rock with his trident, from which three springs are still gushing, which fill Gosaikund. There are 108 lakes in total. In 2007, Gosaikund was included in the UNESCO list of Natural Heritage sites. The transition takes 4-5 hours. Overnight in a mountain guesthouse (3900 m)

After breakfast, we will move to the Tibetan border. The transfer takes 2-3 hours. Transfer by jeeps 1-2 hours. We cross the border and have dinner in Tibet. Overnight at a hotel in Kerung (2500 m)

Kerung Saga We are waiting for an incredible mountain road with long passes of 5,000 and above – take a deep breath! This day is considered the most difficult in terms of acclimatization. For those who follow the standard (Indian), most budget-friendly program, this is a really serious challenge.… Without prior acclimatization, immediately gaining altitude from 2000 to 5200 m on the passes and spending the night at 4500 m (there is nowhere lower there!), there is a real risk of developing altitude sickness, serious swelling of internal organs, etc. In our case, after the mountain hike, we will already be sufficiently adapted to the altitude and this really difficult day of the journey will go smoothly! Transfer to Saga at 10 o'clock. Stops for lunch, tea. Photographing the beauty of Tibet. Overnight at the hotel in Saga (4,500 m).

Day 1 of the bark around Mount Kailash. Transfer from Darchen along the picturesque valley to the Dirapuk monastery. We will go along the western slope of Kailasa, visit the Chuku Gompa monastery, where the white marble Buddha, the tusks of the sacred elephant, the ancient ritual shell and the copper vat in which water boiled without fire are kept. The 13 koras around this monastery are counted for one outer bark of Kailasa. After that, you can climb the ancient path to the site of the samadhi of 84 Mahasiddhas (now there is a Tibetan heavenly cemetery). Overnight at the guesthouse at the Dirapuk Monastery (4500m).

Exit to the Northern face of Kailasa (5000m). The opportunity to touch the Holy of Holies. There will be enough time to meditate, and just be there — what could be more beautiful! Overnight at the guesthouse at the Dirapuk Monastery (4500m).

The Green Tara Pass (Drolma La 5600m). On this day, we will make the longest trek and climb to the highest altitude – the Green Tara Pass, Drolma La (5660 m). Our path will pass through the "18 hells", the Valley of Death and the Shivatsal cemeteries, through the stone of rebirth, we will ascend to the highest point — the Green Tara Pass, then we will walk along the path over the sacred lake Gaurikund. We will start the descent after cleansing at a place called the Axe of Karma and arrive at the Zutulpuk Monastery. Overnight at the guesthouse at the monastery.

The Zutulpuk Monastery houses Milarepa's most important meditation cave, magically created with a huge stone slab placed by Milarepa himself during a magic contest with another famous bonpo master, Naro Bon Jung. Milarepa, Marpa's disciple, is the most colorful figure of Tibetan Buddhism. A mystic poet, a great hermit, and a mahasiddha. There is a statue of Avalokiteshvara, the Buddha of Compassion, in the monastery. Pilgrims leave their belongings here, asking for blessings and well-being. In addition, the Zutulpuk Monastery is known for special medicines for eye treatment and vision restoration. The monastery is about 1000 years old. The completion of the bark. Transfer Darchen — Lake Manasarovar (1 hour). Manasarovar is the most revered and famous lake in all of Asia. According to legend, Lake Manasarovar was the first object created in the mind of Brahma. Followers of Buddhism also believe that Manasarovar is the legendary Lake Anawatapta, where the Maya queen conceived the Buddha. In the evening, you can visit the thermal radon baths. Transfer 8-10 hours from Darchen to Saga, stopping for tea and lunch on the way. Overnight at the hotel.

We will spend the whole day on the road admiring the landscapes of the Tibetan high-altitude desert against the backdrop of snow-capped peaks, overcoming countless passes with stops for lunch, buying souvenirs, and taking photos. Overnight at the guesthouse
