Many people have probably seen the photo: the sun is shining, the beach is full of people, and a submarine is visible in the sea. The birthplace of this photo is the coast of the White Sea on the island of Yagry. I can't promise a beach full of people and a submarine at sea, but sometimes submarines can be seen in docks and the open sea. Already on the coast of the White Sea, we will not only enjoy the breathtaking views and expanse, but also take a walk through the pine forest, where we can "encounter" its inhabitants – squirrels. Believe me, you will be ready to meet them, I always have their favorite treats. And you can feed them and take photos to remember them by. This part of the tour is especially liked by children! Severodvinsk is also called the City of Shipbuilders, because it is there that nuclear submarines are built, sometimes they can be seen at the docks or directly from the beach. Until 1992, Severodvinsk (Molotovsk in Soviet times) was a closed military city, but now we can visit it, see the historical buildings, feel the atmosphere of the Soviet era – buildings and signs of this period have been preserved there. On the tour we will learn about the history of the Shipbuilder City, talk about its great importance for the maritime history of Russia, about its current position – outstanding residents and defense enterprises. An excursion to the shore of the White Sea is necessary in order to "slow down", breathe in the fresh sea air, look at the sea surface and expanse, of course, enrich yourself with knowledge about the history of Russia.
