We will meet in the center of Petrozavodsk and go on a small car tour of the capital. We will take a ride along the main streets of the city, get acquainted with the history and modernity of the capital, and take a walk along the winter embankment. And then, to keep warm, we'll have a hot tea with Karelian pastries in the best of the city cafes. We will check into the hotel, and then we will go outside the city to meet the fabulous nature of Karelia. First of all, we will visit a picturesque place with the mystical name of the Devil's Chair tract. A rocky massif in a pine forest with a panoramic view of Lake Onega. Next, we will move a little further north to the famous Kivach waterfall, the second largest waterfall in Europe, which is located in the reserve of the same name and is undoubtedly beautiful at any time of the year. After lunch, we will travel to the southern and most picturesque part of Karelia - the Northern Ladoga region. It is famous for its large number of elevation differences, which form a unique rocky relief, mountains, waterfalls, stone islands, and many others. Along the way, we can make a couple more stops among the natural beauties, for a walk, photo or tea.

We will visit the pearl of Karelia - Ruskeala Mountain Park, where we will have enough time to explore it all, despite its impressive size: marble quarry, Italian quarry, mountain lake, etc. Those who wish can purchase an additional tour of the underground route of Ruskeala in the park. We will also definitely visit the famous Ruskeala waterfalls (Akhinkoski), the place where the film "And the dawns here are quiet" was shot. Perhaps they will already hide under a thin layer of ice, or they may turn out to be stronger than the frost and appear before us in full force. In any case, an eco-trail and suspension bridges among the winter forest will be available for us. After lunch, we will conquer one of the picturesque mountains of Karelia - Paasonvuori, which offers a stunning circular view of the snow-capped tops of fir trees and a frozen lake. A comfortable wooden staircase with very atmospheric lighting leads up to the mountain. After that, those who wish will be able to visit the friendly husky kennel.

On the final day, I would like to show you the real pristine Karelia without the crowds of tourists. For this purpose, we have prepared an author's route, including a car and a walking tour of the picturesque places along Lake Ladoga: rocks, mountains, forest trails, as well as an airboat ride among the Ladoga skerries.
