day 01
The beginning of the adventure

From 9:00 to 10:30 meeting of the tour participants at the Airport of Gorno-Altaysk.
After that, the formed group will travel by minibus to the starting point of the tour, the village of Multa. You will have to travel along the most beautiful mountain road — the Chuisky highway.
Along the way we will pass several mountain passes: Seminsky with its majestic cedars and Yabogansky with its steep cliffs. It was here that Nicholas Roerich's expedition was heading in search of Shambhala. It is in these places that the Old Believers who fled the reforms from Central Russia back in the 18th century live. And it is here that the foothills of Belukha are located, from where our hike will soon begin. Magnificent views of valleys, colorful meadows and high passes await you.

day 02
Lower and Middle lakes

Transfer from the campsite by GAZ 66/ZIL 131 cars to the Lower Multinsky Lake Bridge. The first meeting with a mountain lake. The lower lake is a beautiful large lake with crystal clear water, located at an altitude of 1700 m. Relaxing on the shore.
Setting up a base camp near the shore. Installation of tents, a set of firewood, water.
Collecting a radial backpack and going out to the Middle Multinskoe Lake and "Noises". You can swim on the lake and take amazing shots against the backdrop of snow-capped mountains!

day 03
Katun Biosphere Reserve

From 9:00 to 10:30, Collecting a radial backpack, preparing for the exit.
First, we will take a boat ride on the surface of Nizhny Multinskoye Lake, and then we will start the walking part of the route. We will need to cross the "Noise" and get to the cordon, where we need to issue passes to the Katun Biosphere Reserve.
After that, our trail will go along the Multa River to the fork on the Upper Multinskoye Lake and the Transverse Lake.
Access to the Transverse Lake, which begins with a steep ascent leading to a high-altitude valley, and right in front of the lake we will meet the stunning Transverse waterfall! Transversal Lake is located at an altitude of 1885 m. Due to the poor development of forest vegetation on the shores and the dazzling whiteness of glaciers and snowfields, the lake impresses with contrast and harsh beauty.
Descent from the Transverse Lake and crossing to the Upper Multinskoye Lake. Lake Superior is the wildest of the three Multin lakes, has an amazing aquamarine color and is surrounded by snow-capped mountains, from which many streams and waterfalls fall. The drop height of one of them is 60 m.
Return to the camp, rest.

Rest

We sleep as much as we want. We're recuperating. A day in case of bad weather, to relax on the lake, sunbathe, swim, meditate.
We walk around the lake.
We swim, go to the sauna.
We spend our free time as our hearts desire.

day 05
Horseback riding in the mountains

From 9:30 to 11:30, Collecting a radial backpack, preparing for the exit.
A new experience awaits you today - horseback riding in the mountains! Local horse breeders will meet you and teach you all the necessary basics, tell you about safety techniques and pick up the most beautiful horse.
It is necessary to cover about 15 km to admire the extraordinarily beautiful Kuyguk mountain lake and the waterfall of the same name. We cross to the right bank of the Multa River, cross into the valley of the Kuyguk River and climb to the lake. There will be snow-capped peaks and waterfalls along the way, and at the end you will see the largest waterfall, Kuyguk.
You can reach Kuyguk waterfall on horseback, and then you have to walk about 2 km to the lake of the same name.
Relaxing on the beach with stunning views!
We return to the Lower Multinskoe Lake.

day 06
The top of Mikhailovka

From 9:30 to 10:30, Collecting a radial backpack, preparing for the exit. Today we have to climb to the top of the city of Obrazornaya! Where even in summer there is snow, and the views from the top are dizzying.
We leave the camp and head along the trail towards the Krepkaya River and the Proezdnaya River, which must be crossed over a log / ford. We start climbing the mountain, gradually bypassing the forest zone and finding ourselves in the zone of alpine meadows. Along the way, there are often marmots and many birds.
We are heading from the pass to the western peak of the mountain. We will be surrounded by high-altitude tundra, snow-capped peaks of mountains. At the top, we take photos, look at the breathtaking views, and have lunch. In good weather, you can see Beluga whales.
The descent to the camp takes place along a different route - to the Passage River, through an Unnamed lake.
Walking distance is 20 km.
day 07
Enjoying the beautiful

We assemble the camp, prepare all the things for dumping in the village of Multa. Before leaving, we will definitely stay on the shore of the lake to enjoy the Altai natural beauty.
Discharge to GAZ 66/ ZIL 131.
A festive dinner.
Overnight in cabins for 2/3 people.

The road home

Transfer to Gorno-Altaysk airport. We will make several stops along the way and visit the souvenir market.
