Excursion to Dresden
From 50€ per person
Description
Type: Single-day activity
Duration: 10 hours
* Dresden is called "Florence on the Elbe", the city is rightfully considered one of the most beautiful cities in Germany. The city has magnificent Baroque architecture and one of the oldest galleries and treasuries in Europe.
Dresden is a beautiful ancient city in the east of Germany. During a guided tour of the historical center, tourists will first see the Zwinger Palace Ensemble, the Semper Opera House and the theater Square. Next, they will go to inspect the Castle Residence, the Palace Church and the Brule Terrace. In addition, the tour itinerary includes an introduction to the Frauenkirche and Kreuzkirche churches, as well as the New Town Hall.
After sightseeing, tourists are given free time. We recommend spending it on a trip to the Old Masters Gallery, where the Sistine Madonna and other masterpieces are on display.
Those who are more attracted to shopping than art will enjoy Dresden too! Fortunately, shopping malls with a variety of trendy shops are located right in the city center.
Of course, you should not miss the opportunity to taste German cuisine and beer. Among other things, tourists will definitely appreciate the stew, roast pork, sauerkraut and famous sausages.
The tour is recommended:
- especially for those who want to see something else for comparison during their trip to the Czech Republic (for example, Germany).
- for those who want to see an example of the post-war revival of dilapidated Germany.
- for those who are interested in painting, the collections of the Dresden Art Gallery are considered the best in Central Europe.
- for those who want to see in person one of the main masterpieces of world painting, the Sistine Madonna by Raphael.
- for those who want to experience the delights of German shopping – with a wide selection of brands and great prices during the discount season.
