* I suggest you take a car ride with me and spend a few hours exploring Krasnoyarsk. What awaits you: • One of the key objects of the tour will be the symbol of Krasnoyarsk, depicted on a 10-ruble bill, the chapel of Paraskeva Friday. It is located on Karaulnaya Hill with an excellent view of the city from an equipped observation deck. You will learn the history of the founding of Krasnoyarsk, interesting facts about the location of the city at the junction of three continental platforms. • You will visit the initial historical site of Krasnoyarsk, where almost 400 years ago it began as a military settlement. • After that, we will drive through the central streets of the city and talk about its past during the Russian Empire. • We will get to the historical museum-steamer "St. Nicholas", on which Vladimir Ulyanov traveled in 1897 to his place of exile in the village of Shushenskoye in the south of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. You will see the preserved two-storey building in which the leader of the world proletariat lived for two months, waiting for the destination of exile. • Then we will go to Divnogorsk to admire the Krasnoyarsk hydroelectric dam, one of the most powerful hydroelectric power plants in the world. And if we're lucky, we'll be able to see the unforgettable sight of water being discharged from the storage facility. This usually happens in the second half of June, but it doesn't happen every year. There is a private fish trade near the hydroelectric power station, where you can buy smoked and salted sturgeon, sterlet, nelma, Yenisei omul, grayling and other fish inexpensively. • We stop at the Tsar-Fish observation deck near the village of Ovsyanka, the birthplace of writer Viktor Astafyev. In the village itself, you can visit the writer's estate-museum. • A few kilometers along the route to Krasnoyarsk, there is a wonderful Bobrovy Log Fan Park, commissioned in 2006. In winter, those who wish can ski and snowboard along the magnificent trails. • Then we return to the city.
