E.N. Naryshkina's mansion
Detailed description
The building was built in 1841-1843 according to the design of G.E. Bosse, one of the most prominent St. Petersburg architects. In the 1920s, the building was occupied by the Northern Regional Plant Protection Station, where higher courses in applied zoology and plant pathology were organized in 1921, and later the Institute of Plant Protection of the All-Union Academy of Agricultural Sciences was established.
Since 1958, an oncological hospital has been located in this former building.
The building has been renovated and expanded.
