* One of the most popular excursions in Armenia is a trip to Lake Sevan, which is rightfully considered the "pearl" of Armenia, the second largest alpine lake in Eurasia. Here we will climb to the top of the peninsula and explore one of the oldest monasteries - Sevanavank (9th century). There are various legends about the origin of the name "Sevan". But the most common one says that Van Armenians once left their lands and moved to the shores of Lake Sevan, which resemble their homeland. But they didn't like the cold and harsh climate, and remembering the warm air of Lake Van, they bitterly exclaimed: "Black Van (sev Van) got to us, black Van!" Then we will have a tour to the resort town of Dilijan. They say that if paradise had forests, mountains, and mineral springs, paradise would look like Dilijan. Walk through the old quarter of the city and visit the monument to the heroes of the movie “Mimino". In the upper reaches of the Aghartsin River, the left tributary of the Aghstev River, there is the Aghartsin Monastery, one of the most beautiful complexes surrounded by picturesque forest mountains. The Haghartsin gorge is perhaps the best place in the Dilijan Nature Reserve.
