Description

Type: Single-day activity
Duration: 2 hours
* This tour is a walk through time, where you will see St. Petersburg as it was during the years of the blockade. Over the years, I have carefully collected photographic, literary and diary evidence from those years and was able to create a detailed route along which you will have a continuous image of besieged Leningrad. The route of this tour will start in the historical center, but away from the main attractions and the blockade memorials – in residential areas where the daily routes of ordinary citizens took place during the war years, and will end on Nevsky Prospekt on the Anichkov Bridge.
