You will see some of the seven preserved gates that make up part of the 2nd val fortification, reminiscent of the past of the capital of East Prussia. You will learn about their role in the history of Konigsberg and their architectural value. And in the Brandenburg Gate, visit the wonderful Marzipan Museum, where you will hear a story about this most traditional sweetness of the region. The program will also include two well-preserved areas: Amalienau and Maraunenhof, where you will get acquainted with the history of the creation of German neighborhoods with neat villas, as well as drive around Lake Superior with its unique views. In addition, you will definitely see the "postcard" Fish Village — a historical and ethnographic complex, where the appearance of pre-war Konigsberg was restored. In the heart of the city, on the island of Kanta, near the walls of the main attraction, you will learn about the history of the creation of the Cathedral — the most powerful structure of the 14th century in our city, which is one of the few examples of pure Gothic architecture in Russia. And, of course, we will pay attention to the personality of Immanuel Kant. You will see the grave of the great philosopher and the tomb erected over it. We will devote a separate story to the fortifications of Konigsberg: you will see part of the val fortification — the Don Tower, where the Amber Museum is now located, the Wrangler Tower, the Lithuanian Shaft, the Crown Prince barracks, some of the bastions of the city. And also explore the impressive exchange building with the Exchange Park, as well as the former churches of Queen Louise and the Holy Family.
