This biking tour will take us along the trail of the former railway. Our meeting point will be at the Tourist Information Centre of Koper. From there we will bike along the former railway and have our first stop ‘’at Rex’’, where we will relive some nostalgic memories of this mighty Italian Liner that sank here. Our path will lead us to the tunnel Šalet which offers us a beautiful view of medieval Piran. On our way back from the tunnel, we will relive some of the main stories and tales of Izola and its fishing tradition. We will make a nice break in a special place, a bar ‘’Pod Belvederjem’’, surrounded by trees. A degustation and a fun quiz will follow where you will be asked to partake and test your knowledge about Izola, Rex, and Parenzana. After the break, we will reach an archaeological site in San Simon where lay the remains of an old Roman villa are. Biking further along the path, we will encounter Izolana – a house of the sea, followed by a guided tour of the didactic museum. A minimum number of participants required: is 4 guests
