Let's take a ride along the Chemalsky highway and collect all the best locations to the Orokto Bridge. • 10:00 - Departure for guided tours Go: - Let's stop, take a walk and admire the beautiful cliffs towering in the middle of the Katun River "Dragon's Teeth". - A trip to the island of Patmos. Patmos Island is one of the most popular attractions in Gorny Altai! A small island, in the center of which is the Temple of St. John the Theologian, which is absolutely stunning in its energy, where everyone will find peace, silence and answers to their most intimate questions. A long suspension bridge leads to this miracle, from which breathtaking landscapes open. - Lunch. After the island of Patmos, we eat in a cafe. A variety of dishes, including grayling fish and maral meat. - Well-fed, we are going further along the Chemalsky highway. The main waterway of Gorny Altai accompanies us all the way – the beautiful Katun River, the mistress of the Altai Mountains. - We will visit the Sartakpai valley and perhaps see Batyr Sartakpai himself, about whom there are so many legends in Altai. I'll tell you a few of them. - We will go to the Baatyr-Tash Rock (Bogatyrsky stone). A huge hanging boulder wedged between two huge rocks. - We will definitely take a walk along the rocky shore in the area of the Yelandinsky rapids. - Then proceed to the Altyn – Oos cave. - And the most remote point on the Chemalsky highway will be the man-made miracle of Altai - the Oroktoy Bridge, one of the most magnificent bridges in Gorny Altai. - There's a cafe near the Orokto Bridge. There are especially delicious dishes and pastries. The highlight is considered to be tortillas with cheese and herbs, huge chebureks made from original dough, tea made with local herbs (badan, thyme). We are moving along one of the five most beautiful roads in the world – the Chuisky highway. Our journey will be accompanied by fascinating stories, so the road will be even more beautiful.: - Our first stop is at the Seminsky pass. This is the highest point of our entire route. The height is 1717 m. Here it's time to get a price, and maybe even buy souvenirs. - Let's take a walk in the vicinity of the village of Bichiktubom. Let's go up to the unusual monument "The Boy with the Gopher". - A delicious lunch at the foot of the Chike Taman pass. - We are driving further, and now we have a view from the even more beautiful Chike Taman pass. Here we stop and take a short walk to the observation deck to enjoy the splendor of the mountains. As we move on, the Chuisky tract opens up more and more beauty to us. - The next stop is Ilgumen Threshold. - Further along the course are the Yining Steles. - Confluence of two rivers Chuya and Katun.
