* We suggest you go on a short trip to the holy places of Jordan. First, you will go to the Jordan River Valley, where there is a small baptismal font under the open sky. This place is notable for the fact that here, in Bethany, about two thousand years ago, the baptism of Jesus Christ by John the Baptist took place. On the banks of the Jordan River, you will have a great opportunity to perform the rite of baptism in the river. Next, you will visit the Russian Orthodox Church located nearby. The next stop is Mount Nebo, the pride of Jordan and the famous place from which God showed the Promised Land to the prophet Moses. The mountain is also the presumed place of Moses' death. Next, you will visit the mosaic workshop, where you will be told and shown the process of making colorful canvases. Transfer to Madaba, the city of mosaics, where you will walk through the cozy winding streets of the city and see the ancient mosaic map of the Holy Land in the church of St. George, depicting the territory from the Phoenician city of Tyre to the Nile Delta in Egypt.
