Description

Type: Single-day activity
Duration: 2 hours
* The small town of Friedrichstadt, built by Dutch remonstrant settlers in the 17th century, is a real gem of Northern Germany. The city stands on the canals, along which you can take a boat ride. It is called "little Amsterdam" and the city of religious freedom. There are 5 churches of various denominations per 2,500 inhabitants. Since the foundation of the city, a lot of houses have been preserved, on which there are stamp pictures, which in the 17th century could determine who lived there. We'll try to do that too. We will find out who the Mennonites are, why a small town needs a bridge of midwives, what kind of special drink they drink in Friedrichstadt, why there are so many roses in the city, and just enjoy walking along the narrow streets and canal banks.
