Baron Fredericks Orphanage

The grand opening and consecration of the building took place on August 30, 1903. The construction of the orphanage was facilitated by Baron Fredericks' request for a new building to house the orphanage. The architect organically integrated the new building into a single ensemble with the Smolny Monastery. Since 1937, an orphanage has been located in the building. The Academy of Talents is now located here.
