Type: Multi-day activity
* The winter program "All Altai Mountains" covers all the main highest ranges of this mountain system at once. This is a great and comfortable trip by car to the Katunsky ridge, to the Chuisky Squirrels and to the Ulagan Highlands.
We will make a snowmobile trip directly to the foot of the highest point of Siberia - Mount Belukha, go straight to the edge of the glaciers of the Aktru valley, cross the high steppes to the high passes of the Yuzhno-Chuisky range, visit the most famous automobile pass of Altai - Katu-Yaryk and, of course, drive along the most beautiful road in the world - the Chuisky tract.

day 01
First day - Tungur
Type of accommodation:Hotel
Meeting of all participants in Gorno-Altaysk at 10:00. If your flight arrives later than 10:00 a.m. on the first day of the program, you must arrive in Gorno-Altaysk a day earlier.
We are accommodated in comfortable Land Cruiser SUVs and embark on a journey to the village of Tyungur.
Today is the day of the passes.
We start moving along the famous Chuisky highway.
In the morning we cross the Seminsky pass (1700 m)- one of the highest points of the Chuisky tract.
After the pass, our path will run through the valley of the Ursul River, where we enter the Ust-Kansk steppe through the Yabogan pass.
We have lunch on the way to a cafe and continue along the steppe through the Kirlyk pass to the valley of the Koksa River and the Abai steppe, along which we get back to the valley of the Katun River in the Uimon steppe.
Crossing it, we move along the Katun River and finally reach the remote village of Tyungur.
We check into a cozy, warm hotel right on the riverbank.
In the evening, dinner in a cozy cafe, followed by preparation and briefing for tomorrow's snowmobile ride.

day 02
Second day - Accem
Type of accommodation:Hotel
After breakfast, we load into a snowmobile with a sled and set off to the foot of Belukha.
We cross the Kuzuyak pass on a snowmobile and get into the Akkem river valley, where we continue moving directly along the frozen riverbed.
In the middle of the way, we cross the narrow Akkema Canyon, which is accessible only in winter because it is not accessible in summer.
After the canyon, the valley "opens up", along which we reach the mountain shelter right at the foot of Belukha, not far from Lake Akkemsky.
We check into a heated shelter and, if there is daylight, walk radially to the Yarlu Valley.
In the evening, dinner, frosty starry sky and towering Beluga Whale.

day 03
Day three - Akkem Lake

In the morning, after breakfast, we go by snowmobile to Akkem Lake, where the entire Belukha massif, the Ak-Oyuk valley with the peak of the same name, the Yarlu Valley, the Akkem glacier and much more will appear before us in all its glory.
After enjoying the winter Beluga Whale, we set off on snowmobiles back to the base in the village of Tyungur, along the same scenic road along the Akkema riverbed.
A hot bath and a delicious dinner will be waiting for us in Tungur.

day 04
Fourth day - Aktash

Today we have a long drive along the most beautiful road in the World - the Chuisky highway.
After breakfast, we say goodbye to the Beluga Whale and drive out of the village of Tyungur through the already familiar passes back to the Chuisky tract and continue towards the village of Aktash.
On the way we overcome the most beautiful pass of the Chuisky tract - Chike Taman. The huge Katun terraces, the confluence of the 2 largest rivers of the Altai Mountains (Chuya-Katun), the White Bom - we will certainly stop at all these top locations.
In the evening, we reach the village of Aktash, check into a cozy cottage, from where we will make radial trips for the next few days.

day 05
Fifth day - Trekking
Type of accommodation:Hotel
Today is an active day. Early rising, breakfast.
We move along the Chuisky highway to the village of Kurai, transfer to a more passable UAZ car and go to the mountains.
We cross the Kurai Steppe, a huge intermountain basin at the foot of the North Chuya Range, and climb the Aktru River valley into the gorge of the same name.
In the gorge, we take a walking radial walk to the edge of the Bolshoy or Maly Aktru glaciers (depending on the availability of a trail and the amount of snow), where we will see the highest peaks of the North Chuisky Range (4000 m).
We have lunch in a warm cafe at one of the camp sites in the valley and return to the village of Aktash.
In the evening, after such an active day, a sauna will definitely be waiting for us.

day 06
Sixth day - Chuiskaya steppe

Today we are going to a huge intermountain basin called the Chuiskaya steppe.
During the last glaciation, there was a huge glacial lake here. The scale and vastness are amazing.
Like yesterday, crossing the steppe, we set off in our off-road vehicles to the foot of the third highest ridge in Altai, Yuzhno-Chuisky.
Depending on the amount of snow, on the recommendation of our experienced drivers, we will go to one of the valleys descending from this ridge.
We climb as far as the road allows us to the most spectacular viewing platforms.
In the evening we return to our cottage in the village of Aktash.

day 07
Seventh day - Katu-Yaryk

We are going along the Ulagan highlands to the most famous automobile pass of Altai - Katu-Yaryk. Our drivers will tell you a lot about its complexity, but it's better to see for yourself.
From the village of Aktash we ascend to the Ulagan plateau. We pass the village of Ulagan. We stop at the world-famous Pazyryk mounds and finally reach the edge of the cliff into the canyon of the Chulyshman River, which is actually the descent from the Katu-Yaryk pass.
A complex, winding serpentine descends directly into the valley, along which we will also have the opportunity to descend.
There is an observation deck at the top of the pass for all this splendor.
We return along the already traveled route back to the village of Aktash.

day 08
Day Eight - Homecoming

We say goodbye to the big Altai mountains.
We return to Gorno-Altaysk along the Chuisky highway. Along the way, the familiar locations flash by the window.
We arrive in the city in the evening.
We say goodbye to our entire team and make new plans for further trips to Altai.
It is better to plan a return flight for the late evening of the last day of the program or the day after the end of the program.
