Upon arrival in Irkutsk, the journey begins to the heart of Lake Baikal – Olkhon Island. Olkhon is a truly unforgettable and one of the most famous places on Lake Baikal, which is rightfully called a place of power and especially powerful energy! Olkhon is considered a sacred territory, a concentration of shamanism in Central Asia. It is visited by pilgrims from all over the world. According to legend, Genghis Khan is buried here. You will depart from Irkutsk approximately at 10 a.m. The path will run through an area with scenic views. Part of the road will pass through the Tajeran steppes, decorated here and there with rocky remnants. Guests often refer to this segment of the journey as the "Martian" one. The landscapes really transport you to some kind of alien reality! Olkhon is an island, and they get to it in winter by crossing an ice crossing. After crossing, you will find about 40 km more along the steppes of Olkhon, and then you will reach the center of the island – the village of Khuzhir. In the evening, you have free time to spend exploring the surroundings of the village. At sunset, it is ideal to go to one of the most mysterious and recognizable places on Olkhon – the Shamanka scale. Cape Burkhan and Shamanka Rock are among the attractions of the Baikal National Park. Tourists note the energy of the place ringing in the air, you can feel it on your skin and it's hard to find words to express delight! After enjoying the beautiful views, imbued with the energy of the sacred place, your first day of travel is coming to an end. Tomorrow you will have an even closer look at Lake Baikal and Olkhon.

Today you will immerse yourself even more in the atmosphere of Lake Baikal. After breakfast, you will go on a guided tour. Today you will have a real adventure on the legendary Baikal ice. You will drive to the northern part of Olkhon, see from the ice the outlines and amazing images of the Olkhon rocks, the marble walls of Cape Sagan-Khushun. You will spend the longest time at Cape Khoboy – its rocky, steep shores in these places resemble animal fangs, which perfectly emphasizes the name (the name translates from the language of the local population as "fang"). From the ice, the outline of the cape resembles the figure of a woman – an interesting local legend is connected with this, which you will be told about during the tour. In the middle of the day, you will have a picnic lunch in the fresh air, surrounded by the winter Baikal beauty of nature. The tour takes place with stops in the most beautiful places where you can take wonderful photos for memory. On this day, you will be able to photograph the frozen grottos and caves, and the bizarre views of the amazing statues will amaze you! Back at the hotel, you will have a free evening. Depending on the ice conditions, an excursion to the north of Olkhon on the ice will be replaced by an excursion on land, that is, the movement will be on land without going out on the ice. Today begins an exciting journey to the mountains of the Eastern Sayan. You will depart in the morning from Irkutsk to the Republic of Buryatia to the mountains of the Eastern Sayan and the village of Arshan nestled at their foot. The path will run along a picturesque road, framed on the right by a string of mighty and majestic mountains, at the foot of which lies a plain, decorated here and there with villages. To relieve fatigue after the journey, on this day you will be offered a visit to the hot springs in the village of Zhemchug, which is located very close to Arshan. These thermal springs were discovered in the middle of the last century, and experts from the biological institute have proven that the water there has healing properties. The unique properties of water have a beneficial effect on the body and health, so visiting hot springs is one of the favorite ways for tourists to relax and replenish the body. Hot healing springs welcome guests all year round, but in winter it is especially pleasant to swim in them: it is winter cold around, but it is comfortable and pleasant in the hot springs. After swimming, you will go to Arshan to check in and relax, and tomorrow you will have a guided tour of the sights of Arshan.

After breakfast, you will embark on a guided tour of Arshan. You will go to the waterfalls comfortably hidden in the mountains, artistically frozen in winter, and walk along the trail along the picturesque gorge. Visit the local Buddhist temple-monastery of Hoimorsky Datsan "Bodhidharma", located in a truly magical place called "Holy Glade" among century-old cedars with spreading branches: snow-capped peaks of mountains flaunt against the background, and snow-covered trees give the feeling of falling into a fairy tale. Also today you can visit the local market with Siberian goods (herbs, nuts, souvenirs) — here they are presented in great abundance.
