* The most remote from Vladikavkaz and at the same time the most picturesque Digor gorge is rightfully considered the pearl of Ossetia. Its beauty is simply incredible, and it is not for nothing that Digoria has the status of a National Park. Historical monuments of 5-10 centuries and stunning landscapes are waiting for you. Traditionally, at the entrance to the gorge, we are greeted by the rock monument of Uastyrdzhi, the patron saint of all travelers. The Digoria tour begins at the Akhsinta Canyon, where the Uruk River roars and rages underfoot at a depth of 50 meters. There is a bridge with the mystical name "Devil" over the abyss here. From here we drive higher to the village of Zadalesk, where hundreds of years ago the brave woman Zadaleski Nana was able to protect the Ossetian people from extinction. We will visit the Zadaleski Nana House Museum. Even further away, at an altitude of 2,000 meters, there is a huge ancient Frigate castle. There is no second such structure in the entire North Caucasus! The next stop is the Alanya National Park. An incredible nature reserve that has preserved its natural integrity, where the diversity of the animal and plant world is specially protected, with the cleanest air, pine groves, caves and ancient towers. Next, you will see the Ossetian Lira art object and the famous village of Kamunta - Ossetian Machu Picchu, where no more than ten people live, stroll through the ancient streets and climb the incredibly beautiful observation deck of the entire Digor Gorge. Next to us is the oldest village in Ossetia, the Galiat architectural complex, with multi—storey stone houses. I'll tell you why there aren't any residents left here and why it attracts archaeologists and global researchers so much. Digoria will not leave anyone indifferent, it is not for nothing that the locals consider it the most picturesque!
