Detailed description
Mount Shapka is located in the Malokarachayevsky district of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic, 1.5 kilometers from the Eshkakon River. It is a huge mountain range covered with forest and stunted vegetation. From the top there is a view of the reservoir, gorge and waterfalls of Grishkina Balka.
