Royal House

In the center of Korolev there is a unique apartment building built by Sergey Pavlovich Korolev for the company's employees and with his own money. The house was built in 1953, it is a five-storey building, which consists of 6 entrances. There are a total of 82 apartments in the building. The house was noticeable against the background of low 2-3-storey buildings and looked like a real palace with a beautiful central five-storey part and two modest "wings" below. There were two beautiful flower pots on the roof of the house. Currently, the plaque installed on the house reads "Royal House", and also states that it was built in 1953 with personal funds from S.P. Korolev for his closest collaborators - scientists, designers, engineers and workers of RSC Energia.
