Description
Type: Single-day activity
Duration: 1 hours
* Hamburg can be enjoyed from many sides. One of the most interesting is the view of the city and its port facilities from the water.
I invite you to take a walk along the Elbe River.
We will set off from the pier "Landungsbrücken" or from the warehouse area "Speicherstadt" and enjoy the view of the ancient parkhouses from the water.
In another perspective, the futuristic Hafencity district will open up to our eyes. After skirting the "construction site of the century" and Hamburg's new symbol, the Elbe Philharmonic, we will head to the port harbor.
We will see historical museum ships, berths and a port promenade, the oldest shipyard in the city "Blom and Foss", the historic dry dock "Elba 17", cruise terminals, the Russian museum submarine U-434 and the striking building in the shape of a parallelepiped Dockland.
Next, the route passes through container terminals equipped with the latest technology, where ships from all over the world are unloading or loading.
