* The tour begins with a visit to the Alpine pearl of Bled, which, with a glacial lake, a legendary island in the middle of the lake, with thermal springs and a mild mountain climate, has attracted many cosmopolitans for centuries. It is no coincidence that it was here that the summer residence of the Yugoslav ruler Josif Broz Tito was located. We will visit the castle, which is located on a steep cliff, at an altitude of 130 m above the lake. Today, the castle houses a museum of local history, a medieval printing house where you can print a postcard in memory, a rare variety of Slovenian wine is sold in the wine cellar. After visiting the castle, a trip by traditional boats to the island on the lake, a tour of the church with the bell of wishes and an archaeological exhibition will follow. On the shore of the lake we will enjoy the local specialty — the cake "bledska rezina". It doesn't sound very appetizing in Russian, but it tastes great! In summer, it is possible to swim in the crystal water of the lake, warming up to 23 ° C. If you like trekking, we will visit the Bleisky Vintgar Gorge with you, which is located a few kilometers away from Bled. This natural nature reserve located between rocks and cliffs, between which the mountain river Radovna flows, is a piece of untouched wildlife. The walk will take 2 hours, together 6 km. The route contains quite a few easier climbs. It follows a walk through the charming town of Radovljica — full of architectural monuments. In the 500 years old house you will get acquainted with the tradition of making leztar pranics, which you can buy in the workshop. In that traditional house there is a restaurant of Slovenian traditional cuisine and be sure to try "peasant dishes with sausages, potatoes with onions, cabbage, turnips and bananas", mushroom soup in bread, venison in sauce and much more. For lovers of bees and honey — there is a beekeeping museum in Radovljica — the autochthonous Carniolan honey bee ("kranjska sivka" in Slovenian), bred in Slovenia, is the second most popular in the world after the Italian honey bee.
