10:30 a.m. – Gathering for the tour "Winter waterfalls, pomegranate, alpaca and tiger mining"
You will be expected at the main entrance to the station in Sortavala with a sign "Waterfalls". We recommend that you approach in advance.
You will go for a walk through the majestic Karelian forest and visit several water features.

16:30 – Visit to the Karelian Zoo
We will visit the largest zoo in the Northwest. The zoo is located in a luxurious location among the Karelian forests on a vast territory of 30 hectares (about 60 football fields), so the animals feel more than at ease.
18:30 – Return to Sortavala, accommodation at the hotel

10:50 a.m. Departure from Sortavala by retro train
The landing takes place at the Sortavala railway station.
Ruskeala Express is a unique steam–powered retro train consisting of compartment cars, a stylized dining car and a photo booth equipped with an interactive system for instant photography.
11:55 a.m. – Arrival at Ruskeala station
Our guide will meet you at the train station with the bus number from the text message that will be sent to you the evening before departure, and will guide you to the starting point of the tour.
12:00 – Ruskeala Mountain Park. Guided tour and free time
14:30 – Meeting with the guide. Departure to Ruskeala Waterfalls
At the end of your free time in Ruskeala Park, our guide will meet you and you will set off along the next route together.
14:50 – Ruskeala waterfalls of Akhvenkoski
The Akhvenkoski Waterfalls, small but picturesque cascades on the Tohmajoki forest river, attracted many filmmakers at the time: the famous films "And the dawns here are Quiet..." and "The Dark World" were shot here.
The entrance to the ecotrope is additionally paid upon request.
16:00 – Visit to the Museum of Living History and the Viking village
The Bastion Complex, or Svartbjarnarborg ("Black Bear Fortress"), is a living history museum dedicated to the Viking Age. Its territory is more than 1 hectare!
17:30 – Visit to the trout farm company store
We will make a stop in the city center at the trout farm company store so that everyone can purchase Karelian fish delicacies from the farm in their free time. Environmentally friendly and delicious products from Karelia will be a great gift for your family and friends.
18:20 – Departure to Sortavala railway station
18:45 – Departure by Lastochka train to St. Petersburg
