Decorative layout of the Solar System

In September 2008, the renovated Cosmonauts Alley was opened. You can find an interesting object on it - a model of the Solar system. Residents and guests of the capital can literally "walk" through space and touch the "planets" with their hands. In the center of the monument is, of course, the Sun with an hourglass on the upper face. All the planets are located around the Sun in the same position as they were captured by the first artificial Earth satellite on October 4, 1957. On the model of the Earth, a special dot indicates Baikonur, the rocket launch site. Despite the fact that two years before the monument was unveiled, the International Astronomical Union stripped Pluto of the title of planet, there is a model of it here. It is noteworthy that the authors of this composition did not observe the size ratio of the objects, but took into account the features of the surfaces of each planet.
