Let's start our tour with a review of the northeastern shore of Lake Pleshcheyev, where a mysterious Blue Stone has been lying since time immemorial. If you wish, we will climb Alexander Mountain, where you will enjoy a picturesque panorama of the lake, the ancient temples and monasteries of Pereslavl-Zalessky. During a walk around the city, we will visit the ancient monastery of the Great Martyr Nikita Gotsky, where the relics of St. Nikita Stylites rest and the chains are preserved. Next, we will go to St. Nicholas Monastery, an active women's monastery that will amaze you with its splendor and well-groomed appearance. On the territory you can admire the monastery fish pond, which reflects the bell tower! Let's also touch one of the main shrines of the monastery and Great Russia — the Korsun Cross with Holy Relics, as well as many other Holy Relics and icons located in this monastery. We will end our tour with a walk along the Red (Cathedral) Square of Pereslavl-Zalessky, where in 1152 Yuri Dolgoruky founded one of the first white-stone churches in Northeastern Russia, which has survived to this day — the Transfiguration Cathedral. We will see the Alexander Nevsky Church and the Vladimir Cathedral of the XVIII century, which originally belonged to the Bogoroditsko-Sretensky Novodevichy Monastery.
