Type: Multi-day activity
* The Luzhba station area is an ideal place for a weekend freeride.
The main slopes are located directly above the railway station. Their juicy couloirs are the first thing the arriving riders see, and they are really good. The drop is 300-500 meters, depending on the place of descent. The steepness of the slopes is about 20-35 degrees.
The slopes here are quite smooth, without any sharp bends, but sprinkled with stumps and stones diversify the descent very well. The time to climb the standard ski trail is 40-50 minutes. So, it's quite realistic to make 3-4 excellent descents in a day.
By the way, according to the local Siberian tradition, the slopes here are called "ramps".
Here you will not find snowmobiles, cable cars and other mechanized lifting equipment, only backcountry. We do all the ascents on foot (snowshoes, skis, splitboard). You will enjoy not only the descent along the untouched slopes, but also the ascent among the picturesque landscapes.

First day - check-in, chubby, delight

At 5:00 am, all participants will meet in Novokuznetsk at the suburban railway station (2a Transportnaya Street).
Getting to know the guides.
Transfer by train to the city of Mezhdurechensk.
Transfer to the next train and transfer to Luzhba station (arrival at 9:22).
A short walk (1.5 km) to the opposite bank of the Tom River to the mountain shelter, where we will stop for the night. We refresh ourselves before skating, prepare our equipment and our powder day begins.
During the day, we make 3-4 descents from the Medvezhka mountain. We roll out couloirs with "character", wooded fields and wide logs.
In the evening, you can order a sauna.
day 02
The second day is the culmination

If we get up early, we ride longer.
We have half a day to continue rolling out the surrounding couloirs, so after breakfast we go for a ride.
We manage to make 2-3 rolls before the train, after which we move to the railway station.
At 15:30 we take the train and transfer in Mezhdurechensk to Novokuznetsk, where we arrive at 19:15.
