* We are going along the Chemalsky highway to the village of Chemal, one of the most popular places in the Altai Mountains. There are a lot of attractions waiting for us here. We move to the left bank of the Katun River across the Askatsky Bridge, stopping at the Askat galleries and showing the school where Choros-Gurkin taught. Continuing our journey, we stop outside the village to take a photo shoot on the pedestrian bridge over the Katun River. Then we drive up to the toll road bridge in the village of Elekmonar and do a photo shoot at the Dragon's Teeth. Passing the bridge, we come to the Chemalskaya hydroelectric power station, where we can walk through the fair to the Goat Trail and visit the island of Patmos, a place that inspires spiritual sensations. In 1915, the wooden temple, built in Chemale in 1849, was moved here. In 2001, the church was restored and consecrated. There is a St. John the Theologian Skete next to the temple. Then we continue to the end of the Chemalsky tract, where the Chechkysh tract awaits us - a narrow mountain gorge with a stream, framed by steep cliffs up to 100-150 meters high. Going up the gorge, we can take a dip in the small Chechkysh waterfall, as well as test our climbing skills on the steep cliffs. Returning along the trail, we stop at the observation deck, which offers a magnificent view of the valley of the Katun River. Then we go down to the highway and drive to the Yelandinsky threshold, where we enjoy the breeze and the spray of the Katun River on the stone shores. The highlight of our trip will be a photo shoot on the Orokto Bridge, where the Katun River flows through a rocky fault of the earth's crust in a narrow place about 90 meters deep.
