* Orvieto is one of the most visited cities in Etruria. To touch the ancient history of a city is like traveling in a time machine, when in a short time you get to different eras: the Etruscans, the Romans, up to the Renaissance. Our tour will begin with the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the construction of which began in 1290 and lasted for three centuries. We will visit the chapel of San Brizio, the pearl of the Italian Renaissance, frescoes by Luca Signorelli on the theme of the Last Judgment. One of the stages of the tour will be the famous St. Patrick's Well, which can rightfully be considered a 58-meter wonder of engineering and architecture, with double spiral staircases: one for descending and the other for ascending 248 steps. Albornos Fortress is located near the well, an ideal place to admire the panorama of the valley. The underground part of the city is also beautiful. For more than two thousand years, the Etruscans have created a complex maze of tunnels, cisterns, caves, and dovecotes under the city, which can be visited. We will walk through the medieval streets to the Torre del Moro tower and the ancient church of Sant'Andrea.
