First of all, we will go to get acquainted with the city: we will make a fascinating journey into history and culture. Kazan is one of the top 5 tourist cities in Russia and deservedly so! The special flavor conquers instantly and makes you eagerly explore all the locations. We will visit the main attractions: • Take a walk through the Staro-Tatarskaya Sloboda, the largest ensemble of the national Tatar architecture; • Take a look at the Tugan Avylym ethnographic complex, where a Tatar village with its characteristic wooden houses and rich front gardens has been recreated.; • We will see a fairy-tale castle with stained glass windows and a sculpture of a Little Prince, inside which there is a puppet theater "Ekiyat"; • Let's evaluate the grandiose sports facilities that appeared thanks to the 2013 Universiade; • We will visit the Bogoroditsky Monastery, where one of the most significant symbols of Orthodoxy is kept - the Vatican list of the Icon of the Kazan Mother of God. A separate point of the program will be an introduction to the national cuisine. 13:00 - We have lunch and try the echpochmaki. And then we go to the main symbol of the city - the Kazan Kremlin. It is a bright dominant that forms the central part. On a guided tour of the territory, we will find several visiting cards of Kazan: the leaning tower of Syuyumbike with its special secrets and legends, the impressive Kul Sharif Mosque, built by the millennium, and the Annunciation Cathedral. 16:00 - We will walk from the Kazan Kremlin to the pedestrian street - Kazan Arbat. Let's have breakfast and go to a fairy tale! An original place awaits us - a temple of all religions. This is a bright and ambiguous architectural monument located in the vicinity of Kazan. We will make a stop, and you can come in and evaluate the idea of uniting all religions (if desired, for a donation). And then we go to the island, which everyone read about in childhood! 11:00 – We are in Sviyazhsk! According to one version, it is he who is considered the prototype of the island of Buyan in the fairy tale "About Tsar Saltan". On the spot, everything really looks very charming: a huge staircase leading somewhere up. What awaits us there? A strategically important object in the formation of Russia! Ivan the Terrible needed a strong point to capture Kazan, and the hill on which the island is now located was ideal in all respects. During a walking tour of Sviyazhsk, you will learn about how the fortress city was built and appreciate the unique preservation of the historical and architectural environment. 13:00 – We have lunch and temporarily say goodbye to Tatarstan. Ahead is the capital of the Republic of Chuvashia (~123 km). 16:30 – Yra kun pultar! Welcome to Cheboksary! The modern city carefully preserves its history and national flavor. The main monument of the city, the monument to the Patron Mother, will greet us with outstretched arms and inviting us to get acquainted. Let's not miss this chance.: We will find out why Vasily Chapaev is sitting on a horse in his two right boots, look at the capital from the observation deck of Victory Park and see the Vvedensky Cathedral with its amazing oil painting. We will admire the view of the beautiful Cheboksary Bay and take time to Merchant Yefremov Boulevard, a local pedestrian street where a monument to the heroes of the novel “The Twelve Chairs”, Ostap Bender and Kisa Vorobyaninov, is harmoniously located. We have breakfast and drive to Mari El (~95 km). We are waiting for a republic with amazingly beautiful nature, rich in lakes and forests, which is rightfully considered one of the most ecologically clean regions of Russia. Translated from the local language, “El” means country, and the full name comes from the indigenous population - Mari. And the capital of the republic is the only city starting with the letter “y” that immediately attracts attention with its architecture: Belgian and Dutch streets are adjacent to Orthodox churches. During your stay, you will learn about the Red City before the replicas of European landmarks appeared and why its center was designed in such an unusual way. During a sightseeing tour of Yoshkar-Ola: • visit Obolensky-Nogotkov Square with the Tsar Cannon and the famous clock with a donkey; • let's rub Yoshka's cat's paw and make a wish; • we will see the youngest Kremlin - Tsarevokokshaysky; • let's evaluate the “12 Apostles” complex on Patriarchal Square and the Puppet Theater, reminiscent of the Bavarian Noschwanstein; • take a walk along the embankments along the Malaya Kokshagi River - Amsterdam and Bruges. We will also get acquainted with the culinary traditions of the Mari people in order to fully appreciate the uniqueness of the local people. 13:00 - Lunch at the tavern, where you will taste national dishes: eggplant and three-layer pancakes koman-melna. We leave for Raifa (~130 km). We will return to the Republic of Tatarstan to add to our list of iconic places. One of them is hidden in a protected pine forest, on the shore of a forest lake – and this is the Raifa monastery. It was founded in 1613 by the hermit monk Filaret and has a long history. We will visit the monastery's territory, where you can worship its main shrine, the list of the Georgian Icon of the Mother of God. At the end of the tour, you will have the opportunity to collect the purest water from a local spring. 18:00 - After enjoying the unique atmosphere, we will return to Kazan (~35 km). We are staying at the Kristall 3* hotel (Kazan). Next, a free evening and an independent dinner.

We have breakfast and leave. The next point on the route is the Ulyanovsk region. We move and check the clock (~ 234 km). 13:00 – Lunch at one of the best restaurants in the city. Next, we invite you down the aisle. Or rather, to Novy Venets Boulevard, which offers a fantastic panorama of the Volga River and two bridges: the Imperial and the Presidential. In our bus and walking tour, we will travel through three eras at once: we will see the noble Simbirsk of Karamzin and Goncharov, get acquainted with the city of Volodya Ulyanov and take a walk through modern Ulyanovsk. 17:00 - Visit to one of the most notable buildings of the ancient city - the I.A. Goncharov Museum Center. We will take a memorial tour, where we will get a closer look at the biography of the writer and the history of his works. Free time in the city center. 19:00 – We will escort you to Samara railway station and look forward to new meetings on other routes. Departure of the train to your city.
