Suan Pakkad Palace

Xuan Pakkad Palace in Ratchathevi occupies a manicured tropical garden with serene ponds surrounding 8 traditional Thai houses, each featuring works of fine art, antiques and curiosities belonging to Prince and Princess Chumbhot. The architectural masterpieces of Xuan Pakkad Palace are 4 Thai teak houses between the facade of the palace and the garden – a family heirloom of the 19th century. Each of them was moved here from its original location in Chiang Mai and, like most traditional Thai houses, has a height of 2 floors.
