The castle, designed by the German architect Rudolf Muller in the late Gothic style, also has features of Gothic, Oriental, Romanesque and Old Russian styles. The combination of red and black bricks with white stone details is simply mesmerizing. The south entrance leads to a glass-domed conservatory. The rooms of the castle had their own purpose.
