* The Auguste Rodin Museum is the largest and most important collection of the master's works, as well as paintings, sculptures, documents and books related to his life, which he bequeathed to the state. The museum is located in the center of Paris in the magnificent 18th-century mansion Biron, where Rodin lived and worked, and the mansion is surrounded by a magnificent garden, which also exhibits sculptures of the creator. Rodin achieved masterly mastery in conveying the movement and emotional state of his characters through artistic means and in depicting the human body. The main motive throughout Rodin's creative career was the image of the human body in motion. In an effort to convey movement, Rodin considered the future sculpture not as a static object, but as a kind of center of moving masses, therefore, in his sculpture's conception, the torso occupied a special place as the semantic center of movement.
