A full-day escape offers paddle-boarding on the calm currents of the emerald beauty, hiking to the "must see" waterfall and gorge, catching a glimpse of the mighty Alpine highlands and tasting traditional Slovenian cuisine from the Soča valley region. A perfect tour for an outdoor enthusiast! We will focus on "to experience", rather than just "to see", so we will combine paddle-boarding with other activities and make the most of our day! The SUP tour starts with an introductory briefing on paddle-boarding and instructions on how to stand on the board. In the introductory course, you will get to know the SUP gear, paddle-boarding techniques and learn step by step how to find your balance on the board. Do not be afraid of falling into the cold Soča River. We will give you a short wetsuit and a really large, stable sup board. And just so you know – our survival statistics is 99%! After you gain your balance and confidence on the board, the real fun begins. We will glide under the famous bridge and experience a true paddle-boarding paradise! Bridges, canyon, cliffs and rocks are creating a very interesting playground. After paddle boarding experience our exploration of the Soča Valley continues with driving through the valley, taking a short hike to the gorgeous Kozjek waterfall, making a quick stop at the Korita Gorge and marvelling at the rock formation “Ajdovska deklica” or the Heathen Maiden before we finally reach the top of Vršič Mountain Pass. You will not forget this experience! We will capture special moments with our GoPro camera and send you the photos after the tour!
