The Klyuchevskaya group consists of 14 active and extinct volcanoes, including the famous Klyuchevskaya Sopka, Shiveluch, Bezymyanny, Tolbachik, etc. This is the largest group of volcanoes in Russia. To get to these unique places, we will have to drive through half of Kamchatka, we will spend today on the road, but believe me, it's worth it! On the way, lunch at a cafe in the village of Milkovo (at your own expense). Crossing the bridge over the largest river of the peninsula — Kamchatka. In the evening around 18:00* arrival in Kozyrevsk. Accommodation in guest houses for 2-4 people, single occupancy is not provided – the last civilization is 500 km away from us, wildlife is ahead and this is the first transit point of the route, from here tomorrow morning our journey through the Klyuchevsky Nature Park will begin. The hospitable hosts will prepare a sauna for us to relax after the trip. Supper. Rest, sauna. Meals: Lunch is at your own expense, in a cafe. day 02
The northern eruption of 1975, the Zvezda crater, lava caves.
Type of accommodation:Tent
Breakfast. Transfer to Tolbachinsky Valley (about 4 hours by forest road). The briefing. Guided tour of the cones of the Northern Breakthrough (2 hours). Tolbachik is an amazing and powerful place in its energy! In 1975-1976, a catastrophic eruption occurred here — the largest in the 20th century, the Great Fractured Tolbachinsky Eruption (BTTI). For a year and a half, an incomparable and grandiose element raged. Millions of tons of ash and slag erupted from the cracks and covered all living things around for many tens of kilometers. Climb to one of the cones of the Northern breakthrough – Gorshkov cone (about 300 m, 30-40 minutes), which offers a fascinating view of the aftermath of the strong eruption of 1975. Lunch – snack, hot tea. Guided tour of the lava caves in Zvezda crater (1 -1.5 hours). We will have the opportunity to go down inside the frozen lava duct, through which a red-hot river of volcanic lava once flowed. The installation of a tent camp in the "dead forest" area. Dinner, rest by the campfire. Tent camp: in the camp we will have 2-bed tents (single guests are provided with separate tents, for families there are 3-4-bed tents), a tent-kitchen, a large tent-dining room where we will eat, and in the evenings we will chat over a cup of tea or coffee from Turki. Dishes, camping furniture, a karemat mat are provided. You can rent a warm sleeping bag and trekking poles on site instead of taking them with you. Sanitary conditions in the camp: san.tent-toilet, camping washbasin. Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner included, camp kitchen.

day 03
Plosky Tolbachik volcano (elevation up to 2000 m). A new fractured eruption in 2012. "The Dead Forest."
Type of accommodation:Tent
Breakfast. A walk through the "Dead Forest" destroyed by the eruption of the 70s. Rich pastures and all vegetation within a radius of several kilometers were destroyed. These places have received the gloomy name "Dead Forest", where the dried-up treetops are visible from under a 7-meter layer of slag. The stop is near the place where the fragment of the crashed helicopter lies, making this place even more dramatic. The entrance to the Kleshnya hill - from here begins the path through the new lava flows of the 2012-2013 eruption. The briefing. Ascent to the slope of Plosky Tolbachik volcano up to 1800-2000 m (about 3 hours). Climbing to this height is enough not to waste unnecessary energy and enjoy the panorama of the entire Tolbachinsky Valley, plowed by huge streams of already frozen lava and covered with a huge layer of slag for tens of kilometers around. Fractured eruptions are characterized by the outpouring of large amounts of lava. They are also called "tourist" eruptions, due to the relative safety and photogenicity of flowing lava rivers. This was the case in 2012: huge lava flows swept through the valley, filling up two scientific and tourist bases, streams with drinking water, roads and a nearby forest. Lunch – snack, hot tea. Return to the camp in the evening. Dinner, rest. Camping cuisine: In the traditions of hospitality, special attention is always paid to providing a delicious meal to the guest. Therefore, the food on our trip will certainly remain one of the pleasant impressions after it ends. The team of chefs develops a balanced camping menu, taking into account the activity of each day of the program. Hearty breakfasts that will give you the necessary energy, convenient and light snacks on the route to keep you strong on the way, full-fledged hot dinners in the traditions of home cooking will warm and delight your soul and body after an active day. Products from local producers, Kamchatka wild plants, mineral water, fruit drinks made from local berries, and, of course, red caviar and fresh fish dishes. Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner included
