* The participants of the program will visit the wise king Berendey. Together with Lelya, the Snow Maiden, and the buffoons, they will joyfully welcome Spring, spend the Winter with honor, burn an effigy of Maslenitsa, take part in Carnival amusements – sledding down the hill, on the carousel, strength and agility competitions. Tour program: • Departure of the group from Pskov. • Transfer to the Vechasha Estate in the museum of N.A.Rimsky-Korsakov. It was here that the operas "The Night before Christmas", "Sadko", "The Tsar's Bride", "The Tale of Tsar Saltan", "The Golden Cockerel" and others were written. Among the many places where the composer N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov used to spend time are the ancient estates of Vechasha and Lyubensk. Here, in communion with nature, his beloved family, friends and colleagues in musical creativity, he created his brilliant works. During his seven years in this wonderful region, he wrote six operas and other works that earned him worldwide fame. • We will get acquainted with the Vechashensky House Museum, which houses the exhibition "Nature in the works of N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov" and the permanent exhibition "Folk Applied Art", as well as his office restored in the house museum to mark the 100th anniversary of the composer's death. The memorial park, built on the shores of Lake Pesno back in the late 18th century, gives these places a special charm. In the park, in the fresh frosty air, old Russian amusements await us, we will go sledding from the ice slide and on the ice carousels. • At the end of the program, we will take part in the theatrical performance "Maslenitsa in the Kingdom of Tsar Berendei" based on the opera by N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov "The Snow Maiden", where the program participants will visit the wise Tsar Berendei. Together with Lelya, the Snow Maiden, and the buffoons, they will joyfully welcome Spring and spend the Winter with honor. • We will have a treat, herbal tea according to an old recipe with pancakes. After the tour ends, free time and departure to Pskov.
