Walking tours of Kaliningrad: Along the Khufen Alley
From 300₽ per person
Description
Type: Single-day activity
Duration: 2 hours
* During this fascinating walk you will see and learn interesting facts about Kaliningrad. How do two eras get along in a city at the same time? Who is Johanna Ambrosius and why was the school named after her?
The walking route is built around the sights and interesting places located in close proximity to Queen Louise Alley (today it is Komsomolskaya Street). This street is located strictly from south to north in the old historical district of Konigsberg, Mittel Hufen, and practically borders on the districts of Luisenwall and Amalienau.
You will see a huge architectural variety of ancient houses, villas and mansions. Many of them are over a hundred years old! You will find Kaliningrad's only gargoyle fresco, an introduction to former orphanages bordering rich villas, and the history of the Hufen district.
The duration is 1.5 hours.
The cost is 300₽/ person. Children under 14 years old are free of charge. The maximum number of tourists is 10 people.
There are no additional costs.
