* On the tour you will see the main locations of Kaliningrad and get acquainted with the heritage of the knights of the Teutonic Order. We will start the tour from Kaliningrad. You will walk through the Fishing Village, see the famous Cathedral - the place where the only organ complex in Russia is located and where the great philosopher Immanuel Kant is buried. You will get acquainted with the unusual architecture of the city, its rich history, see the main streets, Peter the Great Embankment, the Kronprinz defensive barracks, the Grolman bastion, the old fire station, the Brandenburg, Royal, Rosgarten Gates, Don and Wrangel Towers, the Church of Queen Louise, and more! And you will also get acquainted with culinary traditions and visit the Marzipan Museum! Next, we will go to the village of Rodniki, where we will see the Arnau Church, one of the oldest church buildings in the region, founded in 1364. In the village of Nizovye, we will visit Waldau Castle, a place that the crusaders chose in 1264, having built a fortress. In 1457, the fortress was turned into a castle, which became the summer residence of the master of the order. We will get acquainted with the architecture of the building and the expositions located next to the Valdava Castle Museum, which presents exhibits dedicated to ancient East Prussia, the reign of the knights of the Teutonic Order and other areas. In Gvardeysk, we will walk through the historical part of the city, see the Lutheran church of the beginning of the XVI century (now the Orthodox church of the Holy Prophet John the Baptist) and visit Tapiau Castle, which is one of the oldest (1265) and the best preserved in the region.
