One of the most important and beloved traditions in our city is the ceremony of the noon shot in the Peter and Paul Fortress. This significant tradition is even reflected in the city charter. There are howitzer cannons in the Peter and Paul Fortress, which are fired from these guns. At exactly 12:00 p.m., under the guidance of the gunner, the traditional volley of guns will be fired — the cannon will fire, and each of the travelers will "check his watch" — this is the tradition in St. Petersburg! This ritual is performed daily — the guns in the fortress are fired at exactly 12 o'clock in the afternoon. Our tour is accompanied by an interesting audio guide and follows the most popular route — along the rivers and canals of the central part of St. Petersburg: departure takes place from the pier on Fontanka River embankment, then the Fontanka River, Kryukov Canal, Moika River, Winter Groove, Bolshaya Neva River — Fontanka River.
