Pavlovsk. The Palace and the park
From 19 000₽ per private group
Description
Type: Single-day activity
Duration: 6.5 hours
* Squeezed into a natural environment, the city became one of the main country residences of Imperial St. Petersburg. The sensitive combination of the poetry of nature and architectural genius is reflected in the landscape, the pavilions and the palace hovering over the entire park.
The Palace has a collection of art objects sent during the construction of the palace by a young married couple, Paul I and Maria Feodorovna, from Europe.
It was in Pavlovsk during the reign of Nicholas I in 1836 that the First railway in Russia was built, and the first Music station was built in Pavlovsk Park, which became one of the main places of attraction for summer vacationers.
The interior and exterior decoration of the palace, the compositional integrity of the details, the elegant pavilions, the size and scope of the park with hidden statues and monuments immerse each guest in a man-made "Eden", which every architect aspires to, creating his own garden.
