Earthen rampart
Detailed description
The longest street called Zeleny Val stretches on the Garden Ring. Its length is two and a half kilometers. This street is named after the fact that in 1592 Boris Godunov built an earthen rampart and a fortress that served to protect against enemies. By the eighteenth century, due to the uselessness, the walls of the fortress were demolished, and this place was built up with manors.
