Meeting guests, getting to know Chemal, time to relax

Meeting of guests in Gorno-Altaysk (airport/hotel)
-Transfer to Chemal village, the surroundings of which have long been popular due to their healing air.
On this day we will visit:
- The island of Patmos is a holy, sacred place. The Katun River washes the island from all sides, and a small suspension bridge connects it to the land. There is a church of St. John the Evangelist on the island, which you can visit if you wish.;
- Chemalskaya HPP - we will go directly from Patmos to it, a path along the Katun River called "Kozya" leads to the HPP, there will also be a large souvenir bazaar here;
We will also visit the village, a traditional Altai dwelling, where we will clearly see how the local peoples lived and taste the national Altai cuisine.

Chuisky tract is one of the top 10 most beautiful roads in the world

- Today we have to move 330 kilometers along the Chuisky highway to the village of Aktash. We will have a very strong energy day - for the Altai people, the passes and river confluences are sacred places where they worship the spirits of nature. Today we will see the snow-capped peaks of the North Chuisky range.
On the way we will visit:
- Seminsky Pass (the steepest pass on the Chuisky tract, its height is 1717 m.)
- Chike Taman (the steepest and most dangerous pass on the Chuisky tract)
- The confluence of the two most powerful rivers in Altai, the Chuya and Katun;
- Kalbak-Tash rock paintings (the second largest collection of petroglyphs in Altai, with about 5,000 drawings recorded);
- Shirlak Waterfall (a small waterfall on the Chuisky highway, we will climb the path right to the top);
- Geyser Lake (the famous lake in Altai, which opened to people quite recently, a fabulous atmosphere and gorgeous photos are provided to you);
- Check-in at the t/b.
day 03
Alien mountains in Altai

Today, part of the road will run against the backdrop of the snow-capped peaks of the North Chuya Range, so you will be provided with stunning photos.
On this day we have to go to Mars and the moon. Probably, everyone who has ever been interested in Altai has seen stunning multicolored mountains of red, yellow, black, and purple. This is Altai Mars.
In highly passable cars, we will go on a trip along real mountain roads, where we will see the Ak-tru glaciers, Sofia glaciers, mountain passes and other stunning views. We will visit Mars 1, Mars 2 and the Moon, after that we will take a horse ride through the picturesque places, and in the evening we will go to steam in the sauna.
day 04
Radial exit to Katu-Yaryk pass

- Today we have to leave the Chuisky tract for a while and continue along the Ulagan tract to the mighty Katu-Yaryk pass. The pass is the only land road that connects the valley of the Chulyshman River with civilization. The pass is a serpentine almost 4 kilometers long, with a height difference of 800 meters.
On the way we will visit:
- Red Gate (a natural monument of the Altai Republic, a passage in the rocks was pierced during the construction of the road, the mountains are painted in a red shade, which gives them a compound of mercury - cinnabar);
- Ulagan Lakes (a chain of many pristine mountain lakes along the road)
- Ulagan pass (height 2,080 m., It is one of the highest highway passes in Altai. Snow can easily fall here in summer. For the local population, the Ulagan Pass is a sacred place)
- The Pazyryk mounds;
- Katu-Yaryk pass, where we will have a picnic overlooking the valley of the Chulyshman River.
Kurkure Waterfall – 30 meters of free falling water
Return to the base in the evening.
day 05
Transfer to Gorno-Altaysk

After breakfast, we leave for Gorno-Altaysk, and on the way we will stop at a couple of beautiful places for lunch. Check-in at the hotel.

Morning transfer to the airport
