Chapel of the Archangel Michael

The chapel was built near JSC AvtoVAZ. It is dedicated to the memory of the deceased factory workers, and it is customary to hold prayer services for the health of employees. On March 27, 1997, construction began, and exactly two months later, the construction site was consecrated by Metropolitan Sergius of Samara and Syzran. On November 21, 1997, the chapel was consecrated, this event was timed to coincide with the day of Michael the Archangel and other Heavenly Powers.
